Basically a powerlifting type split, however do you have periodisation in place or just do a couple of sets and then a superset to failure to finish it off?

I'm basically running my own knock off 5x5

Add weight whenever I feel like I got 3+ reps left in the tank

Focus on bar speed
La la la la, la, la. La, la-la la, lahhh. Bye bye, bye bye. All you niggas die.

I suddenly have so many questions..

I don't even know which year we did the last fitness competition, BUT, where did you start and where are you with your personal best lifts weight wise for bench press, shoulder (Klokov) press, deadlift and squat these days?

I'm assuming you are performing all these compound exercises biomechanically correctly? With boxers specifically, y'all like to lead with shoulders forward and it shows in bench press as y'all pull primarily more with shoulders than targeted pectoral muscles.

Do you hold your body in full contraction from toes to neck from the moment you start your set to the time you finish it placing the bar back?

You should be doing endurance, explosivity, and max weight in a more boxing support friendly way..

Deload week is an important aspect of training as well, if you've been doing the exact same bootleg program for more than 6 weeks, your body (central nervous system, spinal receptors, muscles, etc) is already knowing what to expect.

If you'll need any help, let me know.

Rn I’m enjoying how things are going.

265 bench for 1 with 1-2 in the tank
245 front squat for 2 with 1-2 in the tank if my shoes are right
365 DL strapless for 5-7.

Down to 210 or less now. Still can get out and run a half.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.
But it ain't about how hard you hit.
It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
How much you can take and keep moving forward.

I have a partially torn labrum and partially detached upper and lower rotator on my left side (idk the scientific words for those), so pushing real heavy ain’t a big deal for me. As long as I’m safe

You should see my dumbbell benches. My right side I’m pushin 80-100lbs, my left side I’m wobbling on 65’s

You ever do fat bar to improve the grip, or wider grip on a regular bar when doing DL?

My last DL session ended at 336.20 lbs.. Can’t wait to get back to lifting heavier though..
