We used to be close a long time ago but nothing specific happened. People grow up, make new lives and drift away from some of the elders. It's weird behavior from her so I'm sure there's something else going on. I'm not mad, I just don't care what it is lol

I haven't heard from my aunt in 3-4 years and this year she sends me a 4 word and 6 emoji happy birthday text, which I really did appreciate and then I deleted it.

Fast forward 2 days, my mother calls me in a screaming drama panic, "Why haven't you called your aunt?? She's sooo upset!!"

Ooo I like the word mystique. It sounds much better than some of the alternatives but tbh mostly being difficult to figure out was passed down through the generations and works well for me lol.
