Rice and potatoes at night? So, bad carbs before bed? I’ve never heard that before usually it’s a low carb high protein meal before bed. Eat more carbs earlier in the day so they burn off. Editing them at night causes them to store at unwanted fat in the abdomen.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.
But it ain't about how hard you hit.
It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
How much you can take and keep moving forward.

he said he's trying to gain weight and I suggested eating Rice and Potatoes which are natural WHOLE foods that are clean, instead of eating junk to bulk up.
also, eating controlled portion of starchy carbs at night is not harmful at all, especially if you work out and work it around your day. its actually a part of MANY cultures around the world.. eating bread, potatoes, rice at every meal and still staying trim.
everyones body is different. i wasn't giving him body building or extreme advice. just to eat whole natural foods instead of junky things to bulk up!
also didn't mean he eats at 7pm and goes to bed at 7:30. i meant to say don't be afraid to eat natural whole food carbs at night

Basically a powerlifting type split, however do you have periodisation in place or just do a couple of sets and then a superset to failure to finish it off?
