I absolutely love an Irish exit, I don't do it all the time, but I wish I could
wrapping up goodbyes can sometimes take upwards of 30 minutes to an hour with unnecessary questions and statements lol
What is a piece of modern 'unspoken social etiquette' that you actively refuse to participate in, and why?

Waiting for a walk signal when there are no cars coming..
It just makes no sense to me to stand there for no reason when I could just go

Recording in public
I used to try not to capture any unintended person while recording in public... that old me is gone
I have fully embraced the "there is no expectation of privacy in public spaces"
Sometimes, you are just in a place where there is a large crowd but you want to record the moment. I wont delete any video, or turn the camera away because some camera shy Karen is mad that they are in the video.

If I see someone recording chaos in public, regardless of what it is
I automatically think low IQ
Recording people and things (unless you’re a tourist snapping photos of monuments, food etc, or getting pics taken of yourself.. that’s unintentional shit
You’re an absolute fucking retard if you think it’s ok to purposely film people in public without their consent
There should be laws against filming people in public man, I can’t believe people think it’s okay.
Ppl who pull out their phones as a weapon over trivial shit also disgust me, real rat-like behaviour

"Did Tommy leave?"
Lmaao
I've been doing the Irish Exit since I was a kid.
I hate lingering goodbyes or getting suckered into 20+ minute conversations and having to say goodbye all over again
