Our Beloved Maria has Passed Away…

I regret to inform everyone here, but I just received a call from her son John who gave me this terrible news.

Maria and I became very good friends over the last year. We spoke once a week or so about things going on in my life; my wife’s business, college, work, love, etc., and she spoke about her son, her relationship, and weathering storms out in CA. I learned a lot about her and I will say, as smart and caring as she was on here, she was so much more off-site. I feel like I’ve known her and her son for so long and this hurts me deeply.

John and I spoke for a bit. He explained what happened and how she passed. It’s wild because I spoke to her right around Christmas time - she said she was feeling much better as she was sick with the flu for a week or so. John explained that it was not the flu, but something else.

John told me to reach out to her circle. We are her circle. We are her family. I will be in touch with him to check in from time to time.

May our beloved Maria, big sister to all of us, rest in peace.

She will be missed.
