There was a recent case in canada where a bunch of jr league hockey players got accused of rape. They were acquitted after the court case but even if they didnt rape her they were definitely involved in some degenerate shit

Not to compare the two but more so to establish a theme, there was recently a woman who claimed her former partner had raped her 52 times over the past year.
Regret is not rape. You can’t retroactively revoke consent.
Where this case gets murky is because she gave a lot of consent throughout her time with these chaps, and allegedly, this particular incident started “with” consent.

I havent read the details on the Cornell 7 but in the case of the hockey players it essentially came down to there being doubt that she did not consent - the lawyers didnt establish proof she didnt, judge decided her testimony wasnt credible due to story changing, and some phone footage showed the opposite. Apparently, thats what I read anyway. I may be forgetting some details but thats the basic idea.
Either way guilty or no they were involved in a 5- dude gangnam style romp. 2 of them are back in the NHL, the other 3 play professionally overseas as far as i know...
