What is a piece of modern 'unspoken social etiquette' that you actively refuse to participate in, and why?

I automatically think low IQ

Recording people and things (unless you’re a tourist snapping photos of monuments, food etc, or getting pics taken of yourself.. that’s unintentional shit

You’re an absolute fucking retard if you think it’s ok to purposely film people in public without their consent

There should be laws against filming people in public man, I can’t believe people think it’s okay.

Ppl who pull out their phones as a weapon over trivial shit also disgust me, real rat-like behaviour
What’s even more low iq is people who sees someone reordering, walks right into the frame, then bitches about being recorded

I would never record someone just to annoy them…. But if I am recording… don’t expect me to stop on the account of you not wanting to be filmed in the event that you decide to put your face in the camera

I’ve never experienced these issues in public personally

I have once.

I was recording my buddy launching his boat at the public ramp since it was his first time, I wanted to watch him struggle and have good video to make fun of him later on lol (like he did to me when I first got my boat).

A couple walked by and the dude got mad at me for recording his girl because she was in a swim suit. I told him I was recording long before she walked in front of the camera and he wanted me to delete the clips that she was in. I refused and of course he threatened to call the cops, so I said fine, I will wait here for them. He actually did call the cops, but they took so long getting there he ended up launching his boat and leaving.

When the cops showed up, I walked up and explained what happened. The cop "well, that guy would have been educated" and went on his way.
