The biggest shift in my thinking is when I stopped seeing things through ideals

And I started seeing things through circumstances, motives, and reality while still keeping my whimsy and open heart

Man sometimes I play 10 000 dice, and over like 30 rolls barely get any points

Or in catan Ill roll 7s all game

I dont see it as luck/bad luck, just odds

i started playing dice with a certain friend, the game i mentioned above . Its a game ive played my entire life so I have a lot of experience with diff people etc etc. And all you do is roll the dice and if you have the right combos you get points

He literally is THE worst ive ever seen by far. "He sucks" so bad at it which makes no sense but he really does. Every roll is so shit for him hes always lowest points. We've played with him a lot and hes consistently terrible at it. Yeah sure occasionally he gets a good roll but overwhelmingly he is the absolute worst dice player ive ever seen. Makes you want to study what he does diff but he rolls the dice essentially the same as everyone.

Everyone has bad runs but his whole career is a bad run.... maybe someday in the future hes going to go on the best run ive ever seen and become a dice champ
